Henry chases down national rush record

YULEE, Fla.--The Yulee Hornets are on to the second round of the playoffs after 41-26 win over Taylor County. Derrick Henry ran his way into the national record book with a 485 yard game on 58 carries. The effort moves Henry past Ken Hall into first place in the history of high school football.

Henry's record run came on a 52 yard touchdown where he broke two tackles and ran away from the defense. Afterwards Henry said, "It hasn't sunk in yet, I don't think it ever will until I am done playing football. To share this with Yulee and my teamates is a special moment for me."

Henry has 11, 612 yards and another home game in the playoffs next Friday when East Gadsden comes to Yulee to try and stop the all-time rush king.
