Yulee senior running back Derrick Henry started off his final season with 316 yards rushing but it wasn't enough as the Hornets fell at #3 Gainesville 51-28. The game was out of reach at the half with the Hurricanes leading 35-7 despite an 80 yard touchdown run from Henry.

In the second half Henry would add scoring runs of 79 and 70 yards but it wasn't enough to topple Gainesville. The Hornets didn't help themselves with four turnovers and over a hundred yards of penalties.

Yulee is off next week before returning to action against South Lake.
