Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert was able to participate in practice on Wednesday, while running back Maurice Jones-Drew was held out.

Gabbert left Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders with a left shoulder injury. The second-year pro out of Missouri completed 8-of-12 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown in a 26-23 overtime loss at Oakland.

"I'm practicing today, and we'll just take it from there," a cagey Gabbert said on Wednesday afternoon. I'm not a doctor, I don't really want to get into all the medical details. You're always going to be in pain, whether it's your arms, your legs, knees, neck. That's part of the game and you deal with it the best you can."

Jones-Drew was sidelined by a foot sprain which will prevent him from playing this Sunday against Green Bay. He totaled just six yards on two carries before departing the Oakland contest.

In addition, wide receiver Laurent Robinson, who has missed the last two games with concussion symptoms, passed a concussion test and was allowed to practice on a non-contact basis only.
