JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the field Friday for Mike Mularkey's first training camp as head coach of the team.

This morning's session was a walk through and this afternoon is a full workout.

Maurice Jones-Drew's holdout officially started and Justin Blackmon is not in camp either because he hasn't signed a contract.

Clint Session has not practiced today. He is still out from last season's concussions and it's very much an unknown on his future at this time.

John Chick, Terrance Knighton, Zach Miller, Uche Nwaneri, and Cameron Bradfield are on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Observations from day one include a defense that looks way ahead of the offense. Blaine Gabbert looked sharp with the exception of one interception, but there were a lot of dropped passes on day one of camp.
