ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Jarvis Jones says his unimpressive time in the 40-yard dash can't detract from his "great" performance for scouts at Georgia's pro day.

Jones, an outside linebacker regarded as a probable first-round pick in the NFL draft, says the pro day was "one of the biggest interviews" of his life.

All 32 NFL teams were represented on Thursday, including head coaches Mike Smith of Atlanta, Rex Ryan of the Jets and Mike Tomlin of Pittsburgh.

Jones ran the 40 in a lackluster 4.92 seconds. Linebacker Alec Ogletree, another possible first-round pick, was clocked at 4.63 seconds.

Jones says he didn't even want to know his time in the 40. He says he hopes to be judged in the draft by his record as one of the nation's top pass-rushers.
