NEW ORLEANS, La. - Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan has expressed interest in making his team a global team and the first step in doing that could be a regular season game in London as soon as 2013.

Friday night in New Orleans, Khan joined us on the Jaguars pregame show and told Action Sports to "stay tuned."

Khan also hinted that an announcement could be imminent.

"Be patient for a couple of days," said Khan.

The Jags owner just came back from the London Olympics earlier this week and had an interesting comment about the visit across the pond.

"It was great to go out there and London did a faboulous job," said Khan.  "We got a lot of great ideas for the homefield experience."

The topic of London came up earlier this week when the St. Louis Rams canceled their previous commitment to play a game overseas in 2013 and 2014.

Good idea, international attention can't hurt. But re: MJD, 'Hope for the best and plan for the worst' won't get it. You're the boss; pay him or trade him and avoid controversy and distractions as you go.
