HOOVER, Ala. --Will Muschamp and the Florida Gators spent today in Hoover, Alabama talking to more than 1,200 media members at the SEC meetings.
Muschamp says his team must be more consistent on offense, adding "I think we are better at every position offensively". That offense will be led by junior quarterback Jeff Driskel who had 12 touchdown passes last season.
On defense Muschamp says he's had plenty of "sleepless nights" after losing Elam, Floyd, Bostic, Jenkins and Evans to the NFL. However he thinks he's recruited well on that side of the ball.
The Gators have a very difficult schedule this season that includes games at Miami, LSU and South Carolina along with Georgia in Jacksonville and FSU at the Swamp. As for the suggestion that Florida could be a better team with a worse record because of who they play, Muschamp says he can't worry about stuff he can't control.
