MACON, Ga. (AP) - Chase Fieler scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Florida Gulf Coast to a 73-63 win over North Florida on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Sun Conference tournament.

Bernard Thompson finished with 18 points for the Eagles (22-10, 14-5), who will face either Stetson-East Tennessee State in the semifinals. Sherwood Brown had 14 points and seven rebounds.

Florida Gulf Coast's lead was cut to 52-50 when North Florida's David Jeune made a layup with 9:04 left in the second half. But the Ospreys (13-19, 8-11) were unable to pull closer, as the Eagles later went on a 9-0 run - all scored by Thompson - to build enough cushion for the victory.

Thompson converted a three-point play, knocked down two jumpers and scored on a layup during the spurt for Florida Gulf Coast, which has won three straight.

Jibril Smith led North Florida with 29 points.
