JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Northwestern (9-3) will face off against the Mississippi (8-4)in the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl in Jacksonville on January 1st.
Mississippi State returns to the Gator Bowl for the second time in three years after beating Michigan 52-14 in 2011.
The Northwestern Wildcats will make their first appearance in Jacksonville and face the Bulldogs for the first time.
The 68th Annual TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl will be played on January 1, 2013 at Noon, at EverBank Field and will be televised nationally on ESPN. Tickets and Bowl information are available online.
