All he's interested in is the money, and he's not gonna play up to his potential because they wouldn't give him more.....boohoo...I'm sick and tired of hearin these guys belly ache about money.....they get paid too much now, sorry, but no one is worth multi millions per year for anything! Watch the replays and they make what looks like attempts at tackles but they are grabbin at air! There are a lot of players that "want" to play the game. In my opinion, get rid of the ones that are there for the money only, and put in players that want to play the games....they should be payed by what they contribute to the game, for their accomplishments, that way I guarantee they would participate in the game if they want all their fancy jewelry, clothes, cars and houses!

He got a front loaded contract like he wanted. So now he is not going to get as much money as his peers. Your a man and signed on the line saying you were going to play for that much. So man up and play. People are out there watching you act like a child. You are amking 31 million. If you cant live a retire off of that you need to sit down and figure things out better.

At this point, the best and reasonable thing to do is trade MJD. Get some draft picks and a impact player or two and let him and the team move on. MJD rejoining now is, and will be, a very uncomfortable situation for every body--team(as a whole),fans and himself. He's NOT all in--suck it up! I disagree with many of the points Steve pondered upon here.
