JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Eleven area football teams started the night with hopes of continuing their run towards a state title. At the end of the evening that number was down to seven.

Starting in 8A the Fletcher Senators continued their road success taking down Seminole in Sanford 28-6. Josh Corey's team gets rewarded with a home game against Apopka next week.

In the 6A ranks Columbia eliminated St. Augustine for a second straight year. The Tigers beat the Jackets 34-8 and host Navarre in round three.

Bishop Kenny is headed to the Regional Final for the first time in school history after a resounding 44-23 victory over Baker County. The Crusaders return home to host Tallahassee Godby next Friday night.

In 4A it'll be a matchup of two local teams for a spot in the State Championship game. Yulee rode Derrick Henry to the tune of 43 carries and they needed every one to beat East Gadsden 16-13. Their reward is a home game against the defending state champs from Bolles after the Bulldogs won at South Sumter 31-24.

University Christian is also in the final four after they won a shootout over North Florida Christian 44-31. The Fighting Christians must now hit the road to play Warner Christian.

Union County however sees their run come to an end against district rival Newberry. The Tigers fall 18-13 and are eliminated.

In Georgia the Camden County Wildcats rolled to a 34-14 win against East Coweta. They face Norcross in round three. The home team in that game will be decided by a coin flip. Finally, Charlton County bowed out in the first round of the A-Public playoffs falling to Marion County 31-12.
