In a corresponding move, C Aaron Dudley has been reinstated from the seven-day Disabled List to Jacksonville’s active roster. The 25-year-old began the 2013 campaign on the Suns disabled list and participated in 80 games last year between High-A Jupiter and Jacksonville, compiling a .262 average (64-244).

OF Daniel Pertusati has been transferred to High-A Jupiter from Jacksonville. In ten games for the Suns this year, the 22-year-old hit .238 (5-21) with one run driven in.

To correspond with the move, OF Marcell Ozuna has been transferred to Jacksonville from High-A Jupiter. Ozuna, the fifth-best prospect in the Miami Marlins’ organization according to Baseball America, compiled a .267 average (4-15), adding a double and an RBI in four contests for the Hammerheads after returning from an injury sustained in Spring Training. Ozuna is a member of the Marlins’ 40-man roster.

OF Michael Main has been placed on the seven-day Disabled List, retroactive to April 18 due to a left shoulder strain. Prior to his injury, Main tallied a .196 mark (9-46), adding five runs and two RBI in 13 games for the Suns.

In a corresponding move, OF Christian Yelich has been transferred to Jacksonvile from High-A Jupiter. The Marlins’ second-best prospect per Baseball America participated in one contest for the Hammerheads, collecting a hit in that game.

Jacksonville will begin a ten-game homestand tonight at Bragan Field with a five-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
