JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  - The Jacksonville Suns game against the Tennessee Smokies has been suspended due to inclement weather in the third inning on Sunday.  The teams will restart at 11AM on Monday. The Suns and Smokies will play a seven inning game after the first one ends.

The Smokies took an early 1-0 lead on an RBI double by shortstop Junior Lake in the first inning off of Suns' southpaw Graham Taylor.

Suns' center fielder Donnie Webb would lead off the home half of the first inning with a triple and then scored on a groundball to the shortstop by left fielder Jake Smolinski to tie the game at 1-1.

The Smokies would then lead off the third inning with three straight singles as Logan Watkins reached on an infield bunt, Jae Hoon Ha singled to left and then Junior Lake singled in Watkins from second base to give the Smokies a 2-1 lead.

The umpires pulled the players off the field shortly after and will pick up with the Smokies at-bat with runners on first and second, one out and third baseman Matt Cerda at the plate.
