JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Yulee running back Derrick Henry will play in the 2013 US Army All-America Bowl. The rising senior running back confirmed the news this afternoon on Twitter. Henry became the all-time leading rusher in Northeast Florida history this season, and will only add to his total next season as a senior.
Henry has already committed to play for Mark Richt at the University of Georgia.
Four other area players have also committed to next year's game. Justin Barney, of the Florida Times-Union, reports that those players are Bishop Kenny wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood, First Coast linebacker Daniel McMillian, Trinity Christian safety Nick Washington and Columbia offensive lineman Laremy Tunsill.
