The Amelia Island Tourist Development Council (TDC) is hosting a storytelling event designed to entertain and educate children, ages 6 and up, about Northeast Florida in the 1880s. Author Dickie Anderson will take on the character of Emma Goddard for this free local event. The program will offer a glimpse into the Golden Era on Amelia Island, as well as a typical day for a Victorian Lady. Parents are encouraged to attend the event with their children for a fun-filled hour of history and entertainment. Following the story, children will be invited to enjoy light refreshments and make a craft.

In addition to the program, the Amelia Island TDC will give away four tickets to the Amelia Island Museum of History during the presentation.

The event will take place at Mandarin Branch of the Jacksonville Public Library, located at 3330 Kori Rd, Jacksonville, Florida 32257, at 2:30 p.m.
