I wanted to remind everyone that Saturday, October 10th is the date for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Since 1993, Making Strides has been the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer and celebrate survivorship. Making Strides is a noncompetitive 5K that will happen in over 100 locations around the country this year! Participants can walk on their own, with a team of friends and family, or part of a team sponsored by a business or organization. Registration is simple, and there is no minimum required fundraising amount. Since its inception, Making Strides has helped raise over $100 million in the fight against breast cancer.
