The Jacksonville Dog Fanciers’ Association, in conjunction with the American Kennel Club’s Responsible Dog Ownership Program, presents their first Hallow-WOOF! event on Saturday, October 25, from 9AM to 4PM at the club’s Activity Site, 6932 Morse Avenue, Jacksonville FL 32244.
Dog owners and future owners of all ages are invited to indulge their love of dogs during a festive day of Entertainment, Education and Demonstrations. Wrapped up in the Halloween Holiday theme, Hallow-WOOF! is designed to delight and benefit the entire family including four-legged members.
The day features a Canine Costume Contest that is open to everyone and offers a lot of great prizes. Other events include a Fun Dog Show for children and their pets, a Blessing of the Animals and exciting demonstrations of action dog sports including K-9 Cops, Agility, Flyball, Rally, and even Draft Dog Carting with Giant Breed dogs.
Some of Jacksonville’s Canine experts will present clinics on How to Show a Dog, Canine Orthopedic Medicine, Canine Dentistry and even Canine Acupuncture. With more than ten Breed Rescue Organizations participating and a Fun Dog Show, dogs and breed experts will be available to answer questions about many different breeds. Free admission and free parking makes this is an affordable fun family event.
