Come join us this Saturday March 28th 2009 for the first annual
Southern Exposure Music & Heritage Festival
at Alpine Groves Park in Switzerland (North West St. Johns County)
Southern Exposure will feature 92 year old Hall of Fame Author & Florida’s civil rights activist Stetson Kennedy. Stetson will be speaking and performing with Folk icon Frank Thomas.
Other featured artists include Country Music Legend Charlie Louvin (County Music Hall of Fame), bluegrass innovator John Cowan Band (of Newgrass Revival), blues man Willie Green, folk artist David Dondero, old time music with Revered Peyton’s Big Dam Band, singer songwriter Alvah Allen, and folk singer Dale Crider.
Activities include a Barn Dance, Story Telling, Petting Zoo, Old Florida Venders, Old Florida Photo Exhibit, and Southern Cookin’.
Tickets prices are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors & Kids 12 and under are FREE. The Festival starts at 11:30 am and lasts until Sundown.
