This is a festival for the people of Jacksonville who know that the greatness of a city comes from the value of every individual. This is our time to come together and celebrate EVERYONE with food, drink, music and fun.
Performing will be Mama Blue, Tropic of Cancer, Shawn Lightfoot, Tough Junkie and Ritual Union! Tony Allegretti will be speaking as well as entertainment during the day for kids and more! Intuition is brewing a special Equality Ale.
Last summer our city council voted against including the LGBT community under the protection of the Human Rights Ordinance. Due to this exclusion we are putting more of a spotlight on this very apparent injustice in our city. We will be celebrating organizations and people who have been fighting against the injustice and helping those in the LGBT community hurt by the injust system. A portion of proceeds from Intuition and Taste Buds Express will be donated to JASMYN which has been helping LGBT youth in Jacksonville since 1993
