even in the unusual cold, life goes on for natural Florida. Pelicans, eagles, seagulls, ospreys, and great blue herons go about their day as usual. The ospreys fly around the creek, diving here and there.  The Eagles love the wind because they can soar high above the clouds. They also like the cold weather, and when it gets too hot for them, they migrate up north. The seagulls fly two and fro looking for a snack or perhaps some scraps. The great blue herons wade in the cold water in search of his next meal. The lazy pelican floats along the top of the water waiting for someone to throw him fish remains. All of the birds tend to blend in with the world around them during this time of year. Life flourishes here in Florida even under uncomfortable conditions! I love Saint Augustine!!!!
