"Buresh Blog": Warm winter! - March 1st

March 1, 2017 — Meteorological winter (Dec./Jan./Feb.) was remarkably warm for NE Fl. & SE Ga.  Most notable was the lack of freezes - only 4! (did have 1 in Nov.) compared to an average of 15-18 inland & 2-5 at the beaches.  Dec. avg. temps. were 60.3 degrees - 5.1 degrees above avg.... Jan. at 59.8 degrees was 6.7 degrees above avg.... Feb. at 62.3 degrees was 5.9 degrees above avg. (13th warmest overeall on record) including a record avg. high temp. of 75.8 degrees.
