June 24, 2017 — Cindy remnants will move offshore again...

Since moving inland early Thursday, "Cindy" has continued to weaken but has also continued to be a prolific heavy rain & severe storm system.

The remnant low has merged with a cold front & will move offshore of Massachusetts late Saturday - no regeneration will occur once over the Atlantic.

Gulf of Mexico has gone pretty quiet:

Caribbean/SW Atlantic:

A strong tropical wave has moved over the Eastern Atlantic.  Forecast models don't do much with this wave but do show future waves with some potential in the first week or two of July.  Still.... this is a wave to watch in what continues to be an unseasonably early strong "wave train" parading off the coast of Africa:

Wind shear analysis:

Meanwhile... we'll soon have a tropical cyclone over the far E.Pacific just off the coast of Africa.  This system will move northwest generally parallelling the coast of Mexico.
