"Talking the Tropics With Mike": Series of upper lows - June 27th

June 27, 2016 — A very quiet Atlantic Basin right now.  There are a series of cool front & upper level low pressure areas over the Atlantic + some weak tropical waves moving west throught the Caribbean but no tropical development is likely.

The week leading up to the 4th of July should be generally quiet across the Atlantic Basin.

So for those "forecasters" hitting on a big storm over the Gulf by this weekend.... as I posted about last week -- not so much.
