Alyssa Pejic is a First Alert Meteorologist for Action News Jax.
Alyssa joined the First Alert Weather team in January 2020 and anchors the Saturday and Sunday evening newscasts on CBS47 and FOX30.
She was born and raised in Ohio, but moved to Pensacola, FL, before college.
Alyssa attended Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a Minor in Mathematics.
In college, Alyssa played collegiate soccer and was involved with the Northwest Florida Chapter of the American Meteorological Society.
Alyssa began her on-air career in 2018 in Greenville, NC, at the CBS affiliate. She was a weekend morning meteorologist and reporter.
Alyssa is so happy to call Florida home again. She is excited to be in Jacksonville covering the weather in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
Alyssa loves to be in the community at schools discussing weather and showing support at public events.
When Alyssa is not talking about weather, you will likely find her doing yoga, binge watching cooking/baking shows, relaxing at the beach or hanging with her cat Bert.
