Jacksonville walk to end Alzheimer’s

Jackonville, FL. — Join the Alzheimer’s Associations in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday Nov. 7.

Due to the pandemic this year’s walk will look a little different than it has in past years.

Participants will be asked to walk as an individual, family, or small team throughout a local neighborhood or various trails in Jacksonville,

“With the dollars raised, the Alzheimer’s Association can continue to provide care and support to families during these difficult times while also advancing critical research toward methods of treatment and prevention.” said Wendy Vizek, vice president of constituent events at the Alzheimer’s Association.

They are asking each participant to download the mobile app, “Walk Mainstage”, to track their walk and have access to fundraisers, resources and to hear stories from families affected by the disease.

The Jacksonville Walk to End Alzheimer’s will begin with an Opening Ceremony broadcast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7.
