Jacksonville, Fla. — You’ve seen them at every street corner and traffic light – firefighters collecting money in their boots.
For more than sixty years, Filling the Boot has been a tradition to raise money for various benefits.
According to a tweet from the President of the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters, Randy Wise, COVID-19 has hurt their ability to stand on corners and raise money for a great cause.

This year, they are asking people to help fill their digital boot. If you’d like to make a donation, click here.
All donations benefit the children and adults in our community and will help support research on neuromuscular disease.
