Wolfson Children's Hospital encourages parents to get children vaccinated

Wolfson Children's Hospital is encouraging parents to get their children vaccinated after three cases of mumps have been identified in our local area.

"We have very good, safe, effective vaccines against mumps and they've now been used for decades," Dr. Mobeen Rathore explained.

A recent Action News Jax investigation revealed less than 1 percent of students in Duval County are not vaccinated. In St. John's County, more than 2 percent have not been vaccinated.
