Action News Jax’s Chandler Morgan to emcee American Youth Character Awards in St. Johns

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Action News Jax’s Chandler Morgan will emcee the St. Johns County School District’s American Youth Character Awards on Tuesday night.

The program honors young people in the community “who exemplify the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship.”


This will be Chandler’s second year emceeing this event.

The American Youth Character Awards is an event hosted by CHARACTER COUNTS! of St. Johns County, which has been part of the school district since 1998.

CHARACTER COUNTS! has acknowledged over 2,100 juniors and seniors and awarded approximately $395,000 in scholarships to seniors for their outstanding character. This initiative continues to help develop the Six Pillars of Character throughout the school district and communities.
