JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A local girl celebrated her first birthday and being in remission with a big surprise on Saturday.
Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida granted 5-year-old Melissa’s wish to celebrate her birthday and remission anniversary at Maggiano’s at the St. Johns Town Center.

This was Melissa’s first birthday she was able to celebrate outside of the hospital.
