FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival will take place Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7 in Downtown Fernandina Beach.
The weekend celebrates Amelia Island’s rich history with pirates, parades, concerts, art exhibits, vendors, and lots of shrimp!

The festivities kick off on Thursday, May 4 with the annual Pirate Parade. Vendor booths open Friday afternoon and the Miss Shrimp Festival Pageant takes place Friday night at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Amelia Island.

Throughout the weekend, prizes will be given to the Best Decorated Shrimp Boat, Best Little Pirate, and Pirate in Training. There will also be an Ice Cream Eating Contest and a Beard Contest.
