'Roseanne' spinoff: Here's when 'The Conners' (and other ABC shows) will premiere

The Conner family, minus matriarch Roseanne, will be back in October.

ABC Tuesday announced premiere dates for its fall TV slate, including an Oct.16 (8 EDT/PDT) launch for "The Conners," the reconfigured sitcom that will return minus star and executive producer Roseanne Barr. The network fired Barr and canceled hit revival "Roseanne" after the star and executive producer posted a racist tweet in May.

Many of ABC shows will premiere during the traditional fall launch week, with two popular returning shows opening the season on Sept. 24, "Dancing with the Stars" (8 EDT/PDT) and "The Good Doctor" (10 EDT/PDT). Alec Baldwin's talk show, which was featured in a sneak peek after the Oscars in March, is back for a full season.

The ABC lineup will feature a few new shows, including comedies "Single Parents" and "The Kids Are Alright," dramas "A Million Little Things" and "The Rookie" and a junior "Dancing" spinoff.

ABC's longest-running drama, "Grey's Anatomy," will open Season 15 with a two-hour episode on Sept. 27 (8 EDT/PDT). One week later, "Grey's" spinoff "Station 19" will take the 9 EDT/PDT hour.
