U.S. Census Bureau is hiring in Jacksonville, Clay County area

DUVAL COUNTY:

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The U.S. Census Bureau is looking to hire people in the Jacksonville area within the next 60 days.

They have up to 2,700 jobs to fill at its Jacksonville office. Jobs would include census taker and office personnel with a pay range of $16 to $17.50 hourly.

Those who are hired would ensure everyone in Jacksonville is counted for in 2020.

Responses to the 2020 Census are used by state, local, and federal officials to determine billions of dollars of funding every year for the next 10 years for critical public services such as hospitals, schools, emergency response services, and road maintenance and construction, according to a press release.

CLAY COUNTY
