The Jacksonville Transportation Authority announced Wednesday that the Jefferson Skyway Station will reopen on Thursday.
The Jefferson Station temporarily closed in early July due to sidewalk closures associated with construction activities of the Lofts at LaVilla housing project adjacent to the station.
Skyway service is available at the following stations: Rosa Parks, Hemming Park, Central, Jefferson, San Marco, Riverplace, and Kings Avenue. However, due to construction of the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center (JRTC), the Convention Center Skyway Station will remain closed until the JRTC is completed in early 2020.
The Skyway will have extended hours for the Taxslayer Bowl and New Year’s Eve festivities.

*Skyway service over the Acosta Bridge will be suspended during the Fireworks show on New Year’s Eve.
The Skyway normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. with extended hours and weekends during specific special events.
