Blog: UNF Ospreys prepare for Wednesday's NCAA tourney game

DAYTON, Ohio — 3 p.m. Tuesday at UNF Team Hotel:

The North Florida Ospreys just returned from a shoot around and media obligations at the University of Dayton Arena in Ohio.

The arena will be the site of tomorrow's game against Robert Morris University at 6:40 p.m.

The Ospreys continue to enjoy this setting and date with history. UNF was on the court for 40 minutes after Robert Morris did the same. Several players and coach Matthew Driscoll did interviews with national media outlets as well.

This is an opportunity for the team to showcase the North Florida brand and their basketball program and UNF is taking advantage of every opportunity.

The Ospreys will bus over to Wright State University again today for a private walk through and then have some dinner and get rest before Wednesday's game.

Tuesday, 8:20 a.m.:

The North Florida Ospreys are settled into Dayton, Ohio, after a long travel day Monday. Upon arrival, the team practiced and then had what was described as the "best" team meal of the season.

Tuesday, the feel of being in the NCAA Tournament will hit home for the basketball team. After a morning film session at the team hotel, the team will bus to Dayton Arena for media obligations and a short shoot around. They will have a chance to get used to the Arena tomorrow's game will be played in against Robert Morris.

The Ospreys also plan on getting a private workout in later in the day. Opening tip Wednesday is at 6:40 p.m. It will be 10 days since the last time UNF has played a basketball game.
