Hulu Just Announced a Price Hike for Its Live TV Streaming Service

Hulu + Live TV is raising its starting price again. The live TV streaming service will increase its price by $10 a month as of December 18, 2020.

Hulu began notifying customers on November 16. Here’s the email:

A $10 monthly price increase means that Hulu + Live TV will cost $64.99 per month. That's the same as YouTube TV, which also implemented a price hike this year.

Hulu Live’s price adjustment goes into effect starting on Friday, December 18, 2020.

Frequent price increases are becoming a pain point for people who've made the switch from cable to streaming. Hulu + Live TV last announced a price hike almost exactly one year ago on November 15, 2019.

This doesn’t appear to affect the pricing of Hulu’s on-demand service, but we’ll let you know if that changes.

If you're looking for cheaper options, Sling TV remains the best budget live TV streaming service that includes live sports and cable news. Its plans start at $30 a month as of this writing.
