Grubhub driver accused of stealing puppy during a delivery in Jacksonville Beach

Jacksonville Beach, FL. — Jacksonville Beach Police responded to a call in reference to a theft investigation on 1st Street South.

When they arrived on scene, the victim told officers that the Grubhub delivery driver, Chilito (suspect), dropped off the food.

During the encounter, the victim’s teacup Poodle exited the residence.

Police say Chilito grabbed the dog, placed it in the delivery bag and left.

Officers and detectives obtained video surveillance from the condominium capturing the theft on video.

Hours later, Chilito was located at his residence in Jacksonville with the puppy.

Chilito was arrested and charged with grand theft.
