3 dead, including child, after shooting at Publix in Florida

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. — A Publix Supermarket in south Florida became a crime scene after three people were shot and killed inside the store Thursday, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies arrived to the store in Royal Palm Beach, they found a child, a man and a woman dead.

“The shooter is one of the deceased,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post.

PBSO said its detectives are investigating and are working to learn what led up to the deadly incident.

It is not an active shooter situation, according to the sheriff’s office.
