9/11 Memorial events happening around Northeast Florida

FLORIDA — Many places around town will host commemorations for the more than 2,000 Americans who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 19 years ago, during terrorist attacks in the United States.

List of places to hosting ceremonies:

• Naval Station Mayport Hosts 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 7:45 a.m.
• Lake City Police Department- will be helped in the front of the Public Safety building beginning at approximately 8:30 a.m
• City of St Augustine Fire Department- The ceremony will be held at the St. Augustine Fire Department’s main station on Friday, September 11, at 8:30 a.m.
