Financial assistance for famers and ranchers

FLORIDA — USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service and Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) is offering financial and technical assistance to Florida farmers, ranchers, and forest owners for 2021 funding.

Applicants have until Nov. 20 to apply for the programming.

The website list eligible land and more on the program:

"Through EQIP, agricultural landowners may receive financial and technical assistance to improve soil, water, air, plants, animals and related resources. Eligible land includes cropland, rangeland, pastureland, private non-industrial forestland and other farm or ranch lands. The application deadline also applies to the following EQIP-funded initiatives:

  • Organic 
  • On-farm Energy
  • Longleaf Pine
  • Working Lands for Wildlife
  • Working Lands for Wildlife Bobwhite Quail
  • Strikeforce"
