Summer camps options in Northeast Florida

Summer is just around the corner, parents are starting to look for summer camp options, and the demand is huge.

Some summer camps are already booked for the year.

However, there are a few options with spots open, BUT you have to act quickly.

These summer camps specialize in surfing, science, sports, and even Legos!

Bricks 4 Kidz! This is a summer camp for Lego-loving kids. It’s fun but makes sure to teach your students valuable skills through the art of Lego. The program teaches students the principles of engineering and architecture. This summer camp is for students aged 5 and older. YMCA L.E.A.P Summer Camp: The YMCA is bringing back its annual summer camp program. This summer camp allows campers to learn new skills and build self-confidence with weekly themes that challenge students, while making it fun. A typical day at the camp includes art, literacy, math, science, character development, social competencies, nutrition, and outdoor play. Kids aged 5 to 15 can apply for the camp. Don’t Miss A Beat summer camp “Broadway Edition”: Got a superstar in the making? Well, this is the perfect summer camp for them. Don’t Miss A Beat is offering a six-week program that allows students to explore dance, drama, instrumental music, photography, and more. The program is granted by the Kids Hope Alliance. MOSH Discovery camps: The MOSH summer camp combines entertainment and education for a summer of learning and fun. This camp allows campers to explore the MOSH museum and learn all things science. COST: $200 for MOSH members / $250 for nonmembers.

Jacksonville Zoo and Garden summer camp: Animal-loving kids, this camp is for you. Get close to some of your favorite zoo animals and learn everything about each one. This program is offered on a weekly basis. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade can apply for the summer camp.
