Jacksonville, FL — Aug. 4 UPDATE: Jacksonville Jaguars’ Gardner Minshew is no longer on team’s Reserve/ COVID-19 list and is now back to work.
“The Jaguars have activated QB Gardner Minshew II and S Andrew Wingard from the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list and have moved CB D.J. Hayden (knee) off the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. All three players are now on the club’s active roster,” the Jags told Action News Jax in a statement.

Gardner Minshew is one of five players added to the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The list is a new category created by the NFL for a player who tests positive for the virus, or who has been quarantined after having close contact with an infected person.
The other players added to the list are RB Ryquell Armstead, TE Charles Jones, WR Michael Walker, and S Andrew Wingard.

The Jaguars cannot comment on a player’s medical status, only its roster status. The team cannot say whether these players have tested positive for COVID-19. However, players can disclose their own medical information if they choose to do so.
