COVID-19 vaccine: How to schedule an appointment in Brantley, Charlton, Ware and Pierce counties in Southeast Georgia

GEORGIA — The Georgia Department of Public Health’s Southeast Health District, which includes Charlton, Ware, Brantley and Pierce counties, released the following update on its vaccination process:

QUICK LINKS: How to make a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in the Jacksonville area

“At this time, the Southeast Health District is pausing the scheduling of COVID-19 vaccine appointments across our district. We are doing this to ensure adequate vaccine supply for the currently scheduled appointments. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, vaccine supply is limited in the U.S., and the state of Georgia only receives what the federal government allocates.

“If you have a scheduled appointment to receive your first or second dose, you will not be affected by this change unless contacted otherwise.

“When we begin scheduling new appointments, we will share this information on our social media pages and on our www.sehdph.org website.
