Glynn County officials: Missing man found dead

GLYNN COUNTY, Fla. — Update: 3:57 p.m.: According to Glynn County officials, David Tucker's body was located. Glynn County Police Department will continue to investigate this death.

Glynn County Public Safety personnel are currently searching for 78-year-old David Tucker who has been reported missing from his Glynn County home.

A land search in the area around the North side of the Sidney Lanier Bridge is underway. Tucker may be in the Brunswick area on foot.

Agencies involved include the Glynn County Police Department, the Glynn County EMA and Homeland Security, Glynn County Search and Recovery, Brunswick Police Department, Brunswick Fire Department, Georgia DNR Law Enforcement Division, College of Coastal Georgia Police Department, Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit and Glynn County GIS Drone Division.   
 
Authorities are asking anyone with any information on the disappearance of Tucker, or who may come in contact with him, to call the Glynn-Brunswick Communications Center at 912-554-3645, the Silent Witness line at 912-264-1333 or the Investigations Division at 912-554-7802.
