Info on recall for certain MiniMed insulin pumps that are tied to 1 death

The FDA is recalling a popular insulin pump used by thousands of people who have type 1 diabetes.

The recall applies to certain Medtronic MiniMed 600 series insulin pumps.

The recall comes after one person died and more than 2,000 were injured after being given incorrect insulin doses, CNN reports.

More than 26,000 people have sent complaints to the FDA about the device.
