Jacksonville Jaguars distributing food this weekend to families in need

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are partnering with Farm Share to give 500 families in the community fresh and canned goods on Saturday.

Other NFL players and local celebrities will join the free giveaway at the Pearl Plaza on 5120 Perry Street starting at 8 a.m. and going until supplies run out.

People are asked to arrive in a car with trunk or cargo space so there is minimal to no contact.

The participating Jaguars players include: Richard Collier, Josh Evans, Jason Babin, Roy Miller III, Demetrius McCray, Jordan Toddman, and, Paul Posluszny.

Other celebrities participating include: Dr. Rakiya Faulkner, Curtis Dvorak (Jags mascot), Daniel Davis (CEO Jacksonville Chambers), Chris Porter, Eric “Dilla” Dillard, Laveranues Coles, and Hugh Harris.
