"Could be anywhere:" Police search for missing Jacksonville man with Dementia

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: The missing man has been located safely on the side of the road in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office asks the community's help in finding a missing Jacksonville man with Dementia.

Alvin Shallers, 79, could be driving a 2018 red Ford Escape with a Massachusett's tag, 9VM448. He is 6 foot and 150 pounds.

The man was last seen in the area of the 3900 block of Salisbury Road in Jacksonville.

JSO said the man may be in traveling to the Tampa area, but could be anywhere.
