11-year-old boy from Nassau County found

A Florida Missing Child alert was issued Friday night for Jason Taylor, 11.
Jason was in the company of his mother, Vetta Thompson.
Police located the boy and his mother at a local women's shelter in Nassau County around 4:30 a.m.
Action News has learned that Thompson was a no-show at a child custody hearing Friday morning. Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said Thompson and Jason's father have injunctions filed against each other.
When Thompson didn't show up for the hearing, Leeper said the judge granted the father custody. The judge was concerned because Thompson has had mental issues in the past, so the Sheriff's Office was directed to search for her.

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — After being found, Taylor has been given to his father who has full custody of the boy.
