DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. - A 16-year-old boy is sought in connection to a school bus shooting on the Westside.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a warrant has been issued for Edgar Robles. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Two girls who were on the bus during the Thursday afternoon shooting were wounded. JSO said the girls were not the intended targets.

One girl was shot in the check and one was shot in the back of the head. Both girls are stable at a local hospital.

JSO said this is not a gang-related crime.

The incident started with an argument between Robles and other teens over a deceased person, JSO said. Robles and two people outside the bus were waiting to fight two others on the bus. The two with Robles left when they realized he had a gun.

An unknown person spat out a window of the bus, hitting Robles, who then shot at the bus five times.

Robles is wanted for two counts of attempted murder and shooting deadly missiles.

Anyone with information about Robles' whereabouts is asked to contact JSO at 904-630-0500.
