An entire community is rallying behind an 11-year-old boy named Conner McKay.

FLEMING ISLAND — McKay was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor on March 28th.

A week before he was doing what he loved, playing football. Since then, his football family, the Fleming Island Dreadnaughts, have stepped up big time to show support.

Saturday is the biggest game of the season, whoever wins goes on to compete for the state title. But it’s more than just a game, it’s a chance for a community to come together and support Conner McKay.

Everyone will be wearing #Conner7Strong with the number 7 on their helmets and McKay on the back of their jerseys.

The game is tomorrow at 11am at 1086 Fromhart St. Orange Park, Fl.
