App allows Nassau County parents to track location of their child's school bus

The parents of a 10-year-old Wisconsin girl with special needs said their daughter was “brutally” bitten on her arm while riding the bus, leaving her in pain and with severe bruising.

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — Parents in Nassau County have a way to track the location of their student's school bus.

The Here Comes the Bus website allows parents to locate their child’s bus on their smartphone, tablet or computer. This will allow parents to know when the bus is nearing the bus stop so they can send their children out at the right time.

Once you sign up, the website will send you an email, or if you have the app version, you will receive a push notification when the bus is within a certain distance of your child’s stop.
